4.9 6.0 GHz Low Noise Amplifiers: GRF25XX Series Datasheet

2016-01-11 15:50:09| rfglobalnet Home Page

The GRF25XX Series of low noise amplifiers (LNAs) are designed to minimize the cascaded noise figure (NF) of the entire receiver to best preserve the signal to noise ratio (SNR) at the receiver input. All of these devices operate within the 4.9 to 6.0 GHz range, and utilize a 1.5 x 1.5 mm DFN package and evaluation board. They are ideal solutions for enterprise/carrier-class Wi-Fi access points made to achieve the highest levels of RF performance.

Procedure For A Higher Accuracy Receiver Calibration For Use In mm-Wave Noise Figure Measurements

2016-01-04 11:19:10| rfglobalnet Downloads

The VectorStar™ Noise Figure Option 41 employs a cold source method using terminations and absolute power measurements to provide noise figure measurements for frequencies from 70 kHz to 110 GHz. This cold source noise figure measurement removes the errors associated with mismatch differences between the hot and cold states of the source, and simplifies calibration and traceability. It also provides traceability paths through the power sensor, and the traceability information is usually readily available, compared to what can happen with the calibration requirements of the noise source.
