Test Facilities Engineer for the MPCVESM MF TFESERV201610ESTEC003 The work will be performed at the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC in Noordwijk and at the Airbus DC in Bremen, The Netherlands. The successful candidate will be part of the Engineer Service for Assembly, Interface and Requirements Verification Section. Tasks and Responsibilities The Engineer will report directly to the Head of the MPCVESM Baseline, Verification and AIT Section. The position will be nominally located at Airbus DS, in Bremen D after a training period at ESTEC, Noordwijk NL. Future relocation to ESTEC, Noordwijk NL may be requested, should it be required by the evolution of the project. The work will consist of the following activities Follow up on a daily basis of the timely execution of the EM1 assembly, integration and test activities. Follow up of the timely and successful implementation of the qualification test plan at EM1 vehicle level. Follow up of the timely and successful implementation of the acceptance test plan of the EM1. Equipment and subsystems reviews for what concern the AIV activities. Tracking and review of all the test reports from the EM1 verification plan and the resolution of encountered anomalies. Support and attend main milestones review meetings of the EM1 Master Schedule. Follow up of the EM2 AIT activities in parallel to the EM1 campaigns. Obtain from Airbus Delivery Managers the subcompanies AIV activity progress against the critical path for subsystemsequipment and report to the project. Report activity progress against the critical path of EM1 AIT activities. Other duties in the area of competence as may be required. In particular the Engineer may be required to give support to working groups where the MPCVESM Baseline, Verification and AIT Section is involved. The applicants should have Relevant qualification in aerospace engineering together with Assembly, Integration and Verification experience. Background and experience in other space projects definition and implementation of AIV activities. Furthermore we are looking for someone who is expected to Demonstrate excellent planning, organization, interpersonal and communications skills to be able to follow industrial assembly, integration and test activities.
