Publix grocery store coming to Henrico County

Publix Super Markets Inc. confirmed to 8News on Tuesday that it has signed a lease for a store in the greater Richmond area. The Glen Allen store is expected to be 49,000 square feet and will be located at the northeast corner of Nuckols Road and Twin Hickory Road in Henrico.

Grocery chain seeks to move its North Academy Boulevard store in Colorado Springs

Lakewood-based Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage wants to relocate from a shopping center at 7690 N. Academy to a free-standing building owned and occupied by Ethan Allen furniture, about one-half mile to the south at 7298 N. Academy. Natural Grocers submitted plans to the city's Land Use Review Division detailing the move, but the chain first needs Springs officials to OK a zoning change that would permit food sales at the Ethan Allen building.
