Although only 7 turkeys flocks have been diagnosed with H5N2 bird flu in Minnesota , more than 300,000 birds have been killed as a precaution, and 40 countries, including Thailand, South Korea and Sri Lanka, have banned imports of poultry from the US. Although cases of bird flu have also been found in other states including, California, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas, etc., Minnesota is the #1 producer of turkeys in the US.
