Fibre takes 10 percent of Dutch broadband connections

(Telecompaper) Fibre increased its share of Dutch broadband connections to 10 percent in the second quarter, growing 3.4 percent during the quarter. The total Dutch broadband market grew by 0.5 percent during the quarter to reach 6.83 million connections. Cable was the largest broadband technology with 3.17 million connections, growing by 1.1 percent during the quarter. The number of DSL lines decreased 0.9 percent to 2.98 million, according to Telecompaper's Dutch Broadband Q2 2014 report.
