Sunlight readable units provide on-screen display in 8 languages and fast minimum feature to capture minimum thickness. Measurement range is 0.040–20 in. of steel with 5 MHz probe and 0.020–20 in. of steel (optional) with 10 MHz probe. Applications include pressure vessels, storage tanks, ship hulls, steam lines, and boiler tubes.
