Baidu raises Q4 revenue guidance, postpones results amid coronavirus outbreak

(Telecompaper) Baidu has updated its guidance for the fourth quarter of 2019. Baidu has also postponed the date for reporting its financial results for the fourth quarter to 27 February, "due to the evolving situation brought upon by the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in China". This decision is expected to give Baidu "more time to observe the business condition for the first quarter of 2020", the company said.

Tele2 raises FY outlook again, as mobile service revenue grows 9% in Q3

(Telecompaper) Tele2 has upgraded its outlook for the full year, after a strong quarter of growth in the mobile market in Q3. It now expects mobile service revenue to grow in the high single digits this year, compared to its earlier forecast for a mid single-digit increase. In Q3, mobile service revenue was up 9 percent to SEK 3.927 billion, and in the first nine months of the year, service revenue grew 15 percent.

Intel raises dividend, sees return to revenue growth in 2016

(Telecompaper) Intel has approved an increase in its cash dividend by 8 percent to USD 1.04 per share on an annual basis, starting with the dividend that will be declared in the first quarter. The company also provided a business outlook for 2016. The company is guiding for revenue growth in the mid-single digits, a gross margin at 62 percent, plus or minus a couple points, and spending down by half a point as a percent of revenue. Capital expenditure is forecast to increase to USD 10 billion, plus or minus USD 500 million, compared to guidance for this year of USD 7.3 billion.
