During a conference call Tuesday with Wall Street analysts, executives with the Baltimore sportswear maker spent a good chunk of time lauding progress made in sneaker sales and overseas. The two segments are key to Under Armour's growth as it continues its quest to steal market share from rival Nike Inc. Under Armour on Tuesday reported that revenue from its footwear business, which got off to a rocky start in 2008 , grew by 41 percent in the first quarter to $161 million.

The Justice Department says two subsidiaries of Exxon Mobil have agreed to pay almost $5 million in government penalties for a 2013 oil spill in a central Arkansas community. As part of a consent decree set to be filed in a Little Rock federal court Wednesday, the companies would pay about $3.2 million in federal civil penalties in addition to addressing pipeline safety issues and oil-response capacity.
