The aviation regulator has suspended two pilots of Taj Air, a charter company owned by the Tata Group, which also flies its top executives, including chairman emeritus Ratan Tata and chairman Cyrus Mistry, for serious safety violations. A Whole Foods market in Oakland is coming under criticism after witnesses said a security guard attacked a customer trying to use an Electronic Benefits Transfer card, KNTV-TV reported. The first witness, Zoe Marks, posted pictures online of the person she described as the victim, saying he was "slammed repeatedly against concrete pillars, put in a chokehold, restrained, and suffocated until he was thrown face down on the pavement unconscious."

Chesapeake Energy Suspends Dividend Payments

Chesapeake Energy Corp, the second-largest U.S. natural gas producer, said on Tuesday it will suspend dividend payments starting in the current quarter to save up to $240 million a year. The company, which like other oil and gas producers has been hurt by a drop in prices, had planned to pay an annual dividend of 35 cents per share.
