Examiner: Expectant mothers living near fracking sites have a higher risk of premature births. This is the conclusion of a new study published Sept. 30 in the journal Epidemiology. What they found was that mothers who lived in the vicinity of drilling and fracking sites were 40 percent more likely to give birth to premature babies.
