Senior Software QA Engineer for ATC Systems Development and Maintenance MF Telespazio VEGA Deutschland has been supporting the European Aerospace Industry for over 30 years, including ESA, DLR, EUMETSAT and DFS. We are looking for a degree educated engineer with aerospace, informatics, mathematics or physics degree and quality assurance experience for the development and maintenance of huge distributed software systems. This position is based in Darmstadt or Langen. RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES Contributing in a Team to the quality assurance during the development, maintenance, verification and validation of air traffic control systems developed and used at the German Air Navigation Service Provider. Shehe will plan and perform Critical Design Reviews CDR, Test Readiness Reviews TRR and Pre and PostTest Meetings, including check of traceability, testlog and all related documentation. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE A university degree in aerospace, informatics, mathematics or physics Strong experience in the area mentioned above, ideally in the aerospace environment Ability to provide support to customers ESSENTIAL SKILLS CR Protocols und Filing databases in Lotus Notes or Share point Specifications and Reviews in DOORS Issue Tracking Systems Jira, IBM Rational Change HP ALM Application Lifecycle Management Good communication skills Fluency in spoken and written English and ideally also in German BENEFITS We offer a competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, relocation support, generous training possibilities and Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme.
