ELFA's Economic Activity Survey shows new business rising.

Reporting on economic activity of $903 billion equipment finance sector, ELFA's Monthly Leasing and Finance Index (MLFI-25) shows overall new business volume for June at $9.5 billion. This is up 4% from June 2014 and 34% from May. Year to date (YTD) cumulative new business volume increased 9% compared to 2014. Receivables over 30 days were 1.1%, and charge-offs remained at 0.2%. Also, credit approvals totaled 79.4%, up from 79.2% in May. Separately, MCI-EFI for July is 62.6.

Farmer survey shows cover crop value

Survey Shows Growing Number Back British Farming

UK - The public’s positive view of farmers has grown for a fourth year running. A new survey from OnePoll shows that 68 per cent of people in England and Wales share a favourable or very favourable view of UK farmers – up from 60 per cent in 2012.

According to Plastics Salary and Trends Survey, optimism prevails among plastics industry employees. Average base salaries in USA grew 0.7% from 2013 to $104,722 in calendar year 2014, and job confidence and growth expectations remained high for both managers and non-managers. Survey of 1,250 plastics professionals, tracking earnings during full calendar year 2014, shows continuation of 5-year trend of confidence in both plastics industry and individuals' personal job security.
