RHEA is currently recruiting a Technology Transfer Officer to support our client in facilitating the use of space technology and space systems for nonspace applications and communities. Please note that this position is based in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Liaising between Technology Transfer Brokers and ESAs various RD programmes Supporting the evaluation of the technical and financial possibilities to transfer andor commercialize identified technologies Ensuring that the Technology Transfer Brokers in members states are kept informed of the various parties involved in the technology extraction Conducting initial assessments of proposals for feasibility studies Following developments and providing support where necessary to the brokers under the National Technology Transfer Initiative Actively contributing to other existing activities notably intellectual property activities, Business Incubation Centre support and other related Technology Transfer Programme activities Keeping up to date with technology developments Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience A good degree in a scientific or technical discipline At least 4 years of relevant commercial andor industrial experience Ability to work with little supervision, in a team environment Proactive attitude and a willingness to take on responsibilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience of working with ESA staff is desirable Fluent in English In addition, an understanding of intellectual property, entrepreneurship, legal affairs andor public relations would be an asset.
