Since its rescue from bankruptcy by the UK government and Bharti Airtel back in 2020, UK satellite broadband player OneWeb has been going to strength to strength. In January 2021, SoftBank and Hughes Network System announced they would invest an additional $400 million into the company, bringing the companies total investment to $1.4 billion. Kyocera Corporation announced that it has concluded a technology licensing agreement with Hanwha Q CELLS Japan Co., Ltd. . The agreement features a license for Kyocera's Japanese patent related to a "three-bus-bar electrode structure" that increases energy conversion efficiency in solar modules , and also includes a mutual exchange of patent licenses between the two companies to be executed in the future.
