Position Reference 134 RHEA Group is currently recruiting a Software ArchitectTechnical Lead to support the cybersecurity team. You will have the opportunity to work in a challenging environment with stateoftheart technologies within the cybersecurity and Infrastructure as a Service domains. At RHEA Group will have the opportunity to work and learn in an exciting environment and participate in unique large cybersecurity projects for the European Space Agency, NATO and the European Commission. This position will be based at the European space Security and Education Centre ESEC near Redu, Belgium. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the research and development of a new set of cybersecurity related products, leveraging cyberrisk assessment and cybersecurity simulation and testing over complex systems within the Space ground, space and data segments and critical infrastructure protection domains Collaborate with other professionals to analyze and define functional and nonfunctional requirements for new software or applications. Use modern tools and methodologies to develop highlevel and detailed software designs Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding and quality standards Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers, leveraging our Agile software development environment Implement code that conforms to all defined quality standards Ensure produced software conforms to all defined quality standards Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Bachelors or masters in computer science, mathematics or a related field More than five years of relevant experience in fullstack software development, with a good balance between frontend and backend Strong experience in HTML5, CSS and Javascript with a good knowledge of its ecosystem Strong experience in Java 78, with a good knowledge of its ecosystem Strong experience in Agile development processes and Git source code control Good experience in SysMLUML Good experience with at least one common design tool e.g. Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw Good experience in continuous integration pipelines Good experience in software quality assurance principles and tools SonarQube, etc... Strong interpersonal skills, team working, good analytic and problem solving capabilities Strong communication, presentation and documentation abilities Effective time management and organizational skills Proven team leadership skills Proven experience working and leading complex software projects Some of the following skills would be highly desirable, in order of priority Experience with software architecture documentation for large and complex projects Experience with Model Based System Engineering principles Experience in Angular 245 Experience on Spring Boot Experience with microservices on Docker Containers Experience in Technical Project Management o PMP or Prince2 certificates How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level? As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for supporting the technical design of cyber defence capabilities to meet market demands. The role will be based in Newport South Wales with the possibility of travel to customer premises predominantly national but also limited international. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include You will ensure that A point of contact for technical design, transition and 3rd line support is provided for project teams internal, external and international The Cyber Defence capability is realised throughout all phases of a project or program from inception to disposal Architecture and designs are created in accordance with the service design coordination process, aligning with the service strategy and service transition processes You will be in charge of Performing analysis of business requirements and the creation of service design packages, supporting discussions with external, internal and international stakeholders up to and including Director Level Designing management information systems and tools related to each environment The continual service improvement of new and existing technology and management architectures This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. You have the following skills and experience A degree level in Information Technology or senior professional qualifications Experience working within I.T. as a domain expert in one or more infrastructure disciplines with a focus on security Experience in working in an Architect or Design role within an MSSP organisation or large cyber security organisation, with two as lead SDA Experience of supporting full technical service lifecycles to include costing of service design transition and operations Experience working on specific SOCSIEM platforms such as but not limited to Splunk, LogRythm, Alienvault, IntelMcAfee, AlertLogic, RSA, ArcSight, QRadar, LogLogic Fluent in English The following elements are desirable Previous work experience gained in a Cyber Defence Analyst or Forensics role a SeniorLead roles in one or more of NIX Architecture Design Administration, Windows Server Families Security Architecture, Information Assurance within UK CESGMoD Endpoint Protection, Boundary Protection Experience working within UK DefenceGovernment sector IndustryprofessionalUK government security qualifications in particular UK CCP, CISMP, CISSP, CCNP, MCSE, ITIL, ISO Audit This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.
