The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require lane closures on SE Tacoma Street from SE 17th Avenue to SE Johnson Creek Boulevard starting Wednesday, June 24, through Thursday, July 2, from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. each week day and may include some weekend work.

Johnson Creek guardrail installation to close SE 112th Avenue near Brookside Drive for two weekends

The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that safety improvements for a Johnson Creek bridge will require the closure of SE 110/112th Avenue between SE Brookside Dr and SE Foster Road on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. This closure also will be in effect the following weekend, with the possibility that a third weekend of work may be needed.

Environmental Services works throughout the city to protect water quality and the environment. Balch Creek, in northwest Portland, runs above ground for approximately 3 miles and then enters a pipe in Macleay Park. From that point on, the creek flows underground through the pipe until it reaches the Willamette River.
