Both stand-alone voltage sourcing instruments come with IEEE-488 interface, and overvoltage protection module is available. While Model 2290-10 has max output ripple of <1 VRMS, Model 2290-5 has 100 mVRMS max value as well as 2 selectable internal filters that allow output ripple reduction to 3 mVRMS.
