Objective To be accountable for the full provision of IT capability and the technical implementation of all phonecommunication capability in support of all functional areas. Responsibilities Duties The ICT Manager will manage the deployment of UK ICT resources on a day to day basis to ensure that the UK ICT capability is able to deliver an agreed UK standalone ability and robust interfaces to capabilities hosted elsewhere. The ICT Manager will coordinate with international ICT colleagues, who have crossgroup ICT coordination and governance responsibilities, to ensure smooth functioning of all the UK ICT including project ICT systems. The ICT Manager will ensure that the ICT architecture matches Finmeccanica governance, Finmeccanica UK governance, Telespazio Italy integration governance, and enables Telespazio Vega UK ICT to meet ISO27001 UK Government Official governances. The UK ICT Manager is responsible for the provision and development of VEGAs ICT for the UK, including but not limited to Ensuring that acceptable service levels are maintained across all systems. Communicating ICT matters to the user community, e.g. for any system failures within the business, inform users ASAP, engage with relevant resources to solve issue, issue periodic updates on progress, inform senior management if major business impact. Developing and mentoring the ICT Team to improve service delivery through improved knowledge and methodologies. Development of the ICT infrastructure and Applications in line with business requirements and project needs. Assisting with the development of annual budget information and requirements. Ensuring that all ICT assets are controlled and software is correctly licensed. Maintaining support agreements and liaising with the companys ICT suppliersconsultants as required. Liaising with all areas of the business to understand current and future requirements, prepare plans, and implement costeffective change programmes where appropriate. Analysing the companys existing IT systems and models and producing recommendations and solutions to improve the efficiency and productivity of the business. Running workshopstraining for Applications, Desktop environment, ICT tools etc. Ensuring maintenance of the ICT business continuity disaster recovery plans and efficient backup. Management reporting Responsibilities include the formal security officer tasks which may be delegated Security clearances of all staff, application of ICT security policies, audit and accreditation as appropriate. Security aspects of the companyproject websites which may be hosted internally or externally. As a member of the MDA Subcontract Management team, and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, Program Manager and Program Director in a matrix organization, you will be responsible for the selection process management of the Subcontractors for various RF Equipments within a dedicated Program, from the negotiation phase to the delivery of the subcontract deliverables to the program organization usage. During the Supplier selection and contract negotiation phases you will be supporting the development of commercial agreements with our Subcontractors in a crossfunctional environment. You will also conduct evaluations, coordinate and participate in commercial and technical negotiation activities between Subcontractors and internal functions leading to final selection. As the program progresses from the supplier selection and contract negotiation phase to the Product development phase your mandate will evolve to ensure continuity and maintain an integrated approach for the Program requirements Supplier relationship by acting as the primary focal point for continuing supplier management activities for the Programs. In this expanded role you will be responsible to Ensure supplier contract adherence and the Negotiation of product change management commercial claims and will also be Responsible to ensure suppliers technical and programmatic performance in support of specific Program business objectives. You will also lead various other activities that would include the evaluation implementation of continuous improvement opportunities. You will influence and apply change management techniques with the aim of bringing all departments and supplier to an aligned vision around the Program requirements. Your responsibilities will also include making decisions and acting on the Program Managers behalf for all performance matters relating to the Subcontract within the boundaries of the contractual agreements. Qualifications You have a bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent five 5 to ten 10 years of relevant experience. You have good negotiation skills and strong experience in project management, financial management and operations. You are a team player, recognized for your leadership and innovation skills and are a good communicator in French and English written and spoken. Knowledge of legal terminology and interpretation of contracts is considered an asset. You are familiar with integrated supply chain and lean manufacturing concepts. You can work with MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of RF Equipment is an asset.
