We are currently looking for a Product Assurance Manager to support our customer in Germany. Product Assurance Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leading system house, specialized in development and implementation of high technology solutions for aerospace, science and industry. You will have the following responsibilities Planning, supervision and implementation of project related product assurance PA activities, particularly Creation of project PA plans according to customer requirements usually as per ECSS Standards Coordination of planned activities with customers and the Project Manager Execution of agreed project requirements Definition of thePA requirements for subcontractors and evaluationapproval of the resulting plans Monitoring of subcontractors in the implementation of the requirements as well as acceptance of deliveries and output Coordinationexecution of PA activities during the development and production, inhouse and at the subcontractors Creationapproval of relevant PA documents Collaborate in a team of PA managers and experts Support of Quality Management representativeduring the development optimization and implementation ofthecompanysQuality Management System. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, IT, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent Several years of experience in product assurance for space projects and with the corresponding standards ECSSQSTxx, ideally liaising with national and supranational space agencies DLR, ESA, NASA Experience in Software PA or in the fields of Reliability andSafety Fluency in German and English High level of sense of responsibility Structured, targetoriented, teamoriented with good communication skills Knowledge of MS Office, RELEX andor DOORS advantageous. You will be responsible for the production of events from conception through to completion. We offer a 1year position in the Marketing Department from 15th April 2013 to 15th April 2014. The position will be divided in 2 periods 15th April 31st December 2013 full time Event Manager replacement 1st January 15th April 2014 time Event Manager support time marketing support The role of Event Manager is handson and involves working as part of the Marketing team. The Event Manager must be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. He She must work well under pressure, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of events and be happy working across Asia, Europe, Africa and America time zones. Responsibilities Marketing events include International exhibitions, fairs and conferences Launch event for customers Customer events Corporate hospitality Internal Sales and Marketing events Typical work activities include producing detailed project plan for multiple simultaneous events e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing managing a tight budget, using finance processes systems liaising with agency to create communication for the event and organizing the production of stand and banners coordinating venue management, caterers, stand designers, contractors and equipment hire liaising with internal customers to ascertain their precise event requirements liaising with other marketing and PR colleagues to promote the event agreeing stand exhibition space to potential exhibiting partners postevent evaluation and lead visitor measurement including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders tracking and maintaining SES exhibition kit equipment inventory and refurbishment plan researching markets to identify opportunities for events. Experience Qualifications 5 year international event management and marketing work experience is essential. Experience in event agency, hotel, travel or catering industry will be appreciated. Knowledge of the technology industry would be an asset. Candidates need to show evidence of the following excellent time management and organizational skills project management experience attention to detail ability to work under pressure problemsolving skills and diplomacy good communication and presentation skills be able to work as part of a team good negotiation skills sales andor marketing skills andor copywriting ability to manage budgets a flexible and adaptable approach be enthusiastic, selfmotivated and outgoing be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels be commercially aware and customerfocused Languages English fluency is essential.
