Package description Highly competitive salary Corporate Benefits Package Relocation Assistance if applicable Further information available from the Serco Europe Recruitment Team Main responsibilities The successful candidate should concentrate hisher activities on the following tasks Lead Analyst Tasks and Responsibilities Interface with EUMETSAT Consortium Compile monthly Report Maintain the S3 Controller shift plan Coordinate and supervise team training activities Maintain S3 Analyst OnCall Listing Compile S3 Controller Team and the S3 Analyst Team hours Supervise and assist the Analysts and Controllers in day to day activities Participate in the oncall rota duty analyst System Analyst Tasks Report in the daily operations meeting for System issues Participation in system validation and operational rehearsals Participation in technical and operational meetings Coordinate and monitor all system operations Check and report on all S3 system operations Monitor MC performance and anomalies using existing procedures SCPGCP Coordinate the configuration management ETs for the issue of system procedures as required Conduct first level investigations on MC SCOS issues and report through the established channels Assist the Controllers and the engineers in scheduled maintenance activities Coordinate and communicate system procedure updates to the S3 Controller Team SBand Service interface activities Scheduling office for all requests with ESOC Onrequest Coordinate and supervise SBand Service realtime operations Support SBand Service meetings OPS Coordination Service Review Ideal candidate The successful applicant will have a sound background in managing large control room activities with a scientific or technical discipline. Heshe must be very familiar with the Sentinel3 Mission, previously experience as a certified Sentinel3 controller Analyst is an advantage. Knowledge of EUMETSATs processes Documentation Management, Anomaly and configuration management is an essential. Additionally, the key person should bring good PC skills, with a good knowledge of the following Word Excel and Access Wiki tools for KnowledgeBase. Experience in software coding scripting e.g. C, UnixLinux and Python for Report development will be considered an asset. The key person must have good interpersonal skills.
