National Public Radio: A small company in California is hoping to make a big splash by providing detailed flood maps to homeowners and insurance companies. Google Adds Some Serious Oomph to Play Games

Google on Tuesday announced a number of new features to the Google Play Games platform that are intended to boost discoverability and cross-platform multiplayer gaming while providing developers with deeper analytics. iPhone graphics chip designer adds more oomph to GPUs

Imagination Technologies, which designs graphics chips used in the iPhone and other top mobile products, is promising "console quality graphics" with an updated GPU lineup announced on Monday. The company creates chip designs that it licenses to other firms for manufacture. It's the same model as that used by ARM Holdings, but while ARM is known for its CPUs, Imagination is strongest in graphics.
