Cotton yarn prices have not yet followed a slight rise of cotton fiber prices in China, whereas 100% polyester and poly-cotton are falling in line with the recent decline of polyester fiber prices. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose, and blends. Import prices are also available for cotton yarns. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. Spun yarn prices have been more stable in the last week in India, although prices have further declined for a few products. If considering the last 12 months, spinners have been confronted with a double-digit decline, with 100% PSF yarns even dropping more than 20%. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose.
