As reported via their paper "Switchable telescopic contact lens" in OSA's open-access journal Optics Express, team of DARPA-funded researchers from USA and Switzerland, led by University of California San Diego Professor Joseph Ford, have created slim, telescopic contact lens that can switch between normal and magnified vision.
