Featuring single-piece body, Elastimold® Shrink-Fit™ Cable Joint can be installed using self-ejecting 4-piece plastic support core, which reinforces openings at both sides of joint and can be removed by hand. Unit combines convenience of pre-molded splicing with range-taking versatility of cold-shrink methods, without use of ripcords or integral braids. Made of molded EPDM elastomer, joint covers wide range of cable sizes, and can be used with aluminum or optional copper compression splice.
