The Commerce Center office building at 3760 Lamar Ave. near Memphis International Airport will be up for auction Nov. 12. The former headquarters of FedEx Corp. and Holiday Inn is up for sale again after an auction failed to find a buyer. Buyers expressed interest in the Commerce Center campus at 3760 Lamar Ave., but none met a minimum bid amount of $2.5 million, said Dede Malmo of Malmo Memphis Real Estate Inc. The campus, which was part of a large auction in November , by Sperry Van Ness' SVN Auction Services, has 272,000 square feet of office space, 22,000 square feet of data space and nearly 20,000 square feet of fitness-related space, as I reported then.

(Telecompaper) European cable group Altice, which controls France's Numericable and is set to complete its majority acquisition of French mobile and broadband operator SFR from Vodafone sees itself as "the most interested buyer" of the country's third-biggest mobile operator, Bouygues Telecom, the Financial Times reports. Altice CEO, Dexter Goei, said at a Morgan Stanley press conference in Barcelona, "We view ourselves as the most natural buyer. If we get a call from Bouygues then why not? I would be surprised if there was not some effort in 2015 to get something done."
