A Brooklyn woman was arrested after attempting to buy items at a store in Tanger Outlets in Riverhead with a fake travelers check on Friday night, according to Riverhead Town Police. Riverhead Police Department responded to Polo Ralph Lauren Children's Outlet at the Tanger Outlet Center to a report of a female possibly in possession of a forged $100 American Express Travelers Check at about 8:30 p.m., police said.
