Could you manage the simulators, tools and databases we use to support Satellite and Ground Segment Integration for our new generation of geostationary satellites? EUMETSAT is the European operational satellite agency for monitoring weather, climate and the environment. We need a Space SegmentSystem Tools Engineer to support the procurement and validation activities for the tools we use to simulate, monitor and derisk phases of our MTG Satellite Programme. This is a great opportunity to represent EUMETSATs requirements for the first MTGI and MTGS satellites and then evolve the way we work for future missions. You will work with our partners to ensure that the project remains on track and that we integrate, verify and validate Satellite and Ground Segment Integration up until acceptance. You will work in an environment where methodologies, standards and processes are essential. Ideally with a background in software development activities in the lifecycle of satellites, you will have experience of managing projects and procurement activities in spacecraft andor ground segment operations. You will work with our partners in industry and use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to interpret and present complex problems and solutions.
