Analog Devices' stock surges after analyst upgrade on belief of Apple contract win

Analyst Blayne Curtis raised his rating to overweight from neutral, and bumped up his stock price target to $70, which is 8.2% above current levels, from $55. "We believe ADI has secured a win at [Apple] with a high accuracy converter to drive 3D touch in upcoming iPhones and iPads," Curtis wrote in a note to clients.

China Eastern profit surges 45%

China Eastern Airlines Corp. posted a 45% increase in 2014 profit, as strong growth in air traffic and lower fuel prices more than offset foreign exchange losses. The Shanghai-based carrier said on Friday that net profit last year was 3.42 billion Chinese yuan , according to Chinese accounting standards, up from CNY2.36 billion the previous year.
