Emcore's shareholders on Friday approved the sale of all of the assets used in EMCORE's space photovoltaics business to SolAero Technologies Corp. The company announced in September it was selling its Albuquerque-based space photovoltaics business to Veritas Capital for $150 million in cash. The shareholder vote on Friday finalized the deal, which will close on Dec. 10, according to a release from the company.

Telecoms group Altice's plan to buy the Portuguese operations of Brazil's Oi for 7.4 billion euros depends on winning the backing of shareholders in Portugal Telecom SGPS, the holding company which owns 25.6 percent of Oi, a spokesman for Portugal Telecom said. Ryanair shareholders back Boeing aircraft deal

Ryanair has said that 99.9% of shareholders have voted in favour of a deal to buy up to 200 Boeing 737 MAX planes at the airline's EGM today. When finalised, and if all its options are exercised, the deal will be valued at over $22 billion at current list prices.
