Senior Test Engineer Launcher Ignition System

For one of our Dutch customers, we are currently searching a Senior Test Engineer. The company is specialized in the development and production of igniters for rocket engines and delivers the igniters and turbine pump starter for the Ariane 5 launcher. Currently they are developing the ignition system for the new upper stage of Ariane 5ME with the new developed Vinci Engine. This will be a common upper stage with the Ariane 6. This will be a position covering the complete Test process cycle and will all be on component, assembly and system level. Specifically their will be Functional and VibrationShock test activities. Selecting the test location Writing the test specifications and procedures Designing ad setting up the test fixtures Performing the tests Writing test reports Selecting and buying some COTS components. Desired Skills and Experience A University degree in a relevant engineering topic A minimum of five years experience in the field of AIT, preferably for space applications Highly experienced in Functional and VibrationShock testing Fluent in English, both written and oral Demonstrate very good communication and team working skills Be able to work calmly under stress with a minimum of supervision.
