Inventure Foods Inc. posted a first quarter loss of $14.6 million or 75 cents per share Thursday, which the company is blaming on its recall of products that could have been exposed to Listeria monocytogenes. The Phoenix-based specialty food marketer and manufacturer reported that the recall of some of its frozen food products manufactured in a Georgia plant in April cost the company $15.9 million in the first quarter of the year.
