Stora Enso to record NRI with negative net impact of Euro 225 million on operating profit and positive impact of Euro 53 million on income tax in its 4Q 2014 results Stora Enso will record non-recurring items with a negative net impact of approximately EUR 225 million on operating profit and a positive impact of approximately EUR 53 million on income tax in its fourth quarter 2014 results. The NRI will decrease earnings per share by EUR 0.22.The NRIs are: a negative NRI of approximately EUR 204 million due to fixed asset impairments mainly in Printing and Reading.

Denmark plans to stick with euro peg

Banks in Scandinavia are joining the Danish government in trying to persuade offshore investors that the Nordic country isn't about to copy Switzerland and drop its euro peg. SEB AB, the Nordic region's largest currency trader, said it had been fielding calls from hedge funds wondering whether Denmark might be next after the Swiss National Bank shocked markets by exiting a three-year-old euro cap on January 15. Economy Minister Morten Oestergaard a day later sought to silence doubts surrounding Denmark's currency peg, which he said remained "secure".
