Respectively available in 24-pin, 4 x 4 mm QFN package and 16-pin, 5 x 6.4 mm HTSSOP, DRV8846 and DRV8848 reduce spin-up time to seconds. DRV8846 incorporates adaptive current control technology and 1/32 micro-stepping indexer to automatically tune motor performance for precise, smooth, and quiet motion. DRV8848 can operate without current sense resistors and simplifies designs by using PWM control interface and minimal external components. Both models are fully fault protected.

Constructed with 2 in. thick aluminum panels, Model PC-D600 supports EATX, ATX, and Micro-ATX motherboards. Unit offers pop-off side panels and front bezel, tool-less hard drive mounting, and clip-in dust filters.
