Spinners continue complaining about the surge of illegal yarn imports from India. EU's clothing imports have less significantly declined in December, with Chinese shipments falling at a slower pace. The weakness of the euro has continued taking its toll on the level in imports in 2019, as unit values were rising in euro terms, although kept stable in dollar terms.
