Q. I have been in search of a good quality shelf stereo that has FM radio and can play music CDs. Call me old fashioned, but I don't need any of the i-whatever or Wi-Fi or Bluetooth features, and am having a difficult time finding anything in local stores.

July 2015 TrueCar has hired technology industry veteran Don Robertson as its Executive Vice President, People, and Chief Human Resources Officer to bolster recruitment of top-tier talent needed to keep pace with the companys expanding business. Robertson joins TrueCar from Hewlett Packard, where he has worked since 2001, most recently as senior vice president of human resources for Enterprise Services. He has over three decades of experience in human resources, business and general management roles, and has worked in finance positions for companies including GE Capital Corp., the Stanford Research Institute and The Clorox Co. TrueCar, with 500 employees across the country, intends to attract even more top-tier talent, particularly from the technology industry and developer community, as it grows. Robertson said, Were going to be scaling up in all areas and my focus will be on making sure everything is in place to make TrueCar a top destination for quality tech talent. Q. Last week I was driving my new Subaru from Chicago to Milwaukee. WBEZ 91.5 stayed on the radio loud and clear all the way! Is there a tabletop radio or receiver that has the same ability? As I have noted in past columns, radio reception and sound quality is taking a back seat to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi these days, and high performing radios and tuners are hard to come by.
