Washington Fire Chiefs Demand Transparency on Crude Oil Trains

Wayne Senter, executive director of the group Washington Fire Chiefs, has asked that the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railway company reveal info about its crude oil routes by the end of next week. Earlier this month, the head of a membership group representing firefighting agencies across the state wrote to the CEO of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railway company, demanding that it turn over information it has previously avoided sharing on crude oil shipments through the Pacific Northwest within 30 days .
