(Telecompaper) French telecom federation FFTelecoms (Federation Francaise des Telecoms) described as a step in the right direction the move by the country's Senate to make changes to draft legislation brought in to improve the security of mobile infrastructure. The proposed law attracted strong criticism from the industry, and prompted concerns that the new authorisation regime could cause delays in the operators' deployment roadmaps.
