Set to be the single largest foreign direct investment ever since the Narendra Modi-led government got to power at the Centre, the American Tower Corp is expected to announce its acquisition of domestic telecom infrastructure company Viom Networks in a deal worth Rs 20000 crore . The largest independent tower company in India, Viom, has nearly 42,000 towers, and another 1,000 towers that are under construction.
