Vancouver - Northwest Pipe Co., the Vancouver-based steel pipe manufacturer, reported a first-quarter net loss of $2.1 million, the company said this week. That compares with a net loss of $12.1 million in the January-to-March period in 2014.

When wrapped around section of PVC pipe and plugged into 120 Vac outlet, PVC Blanket Heaters make pipe pliable and enable users to bend by hand. Models F-3418 and F-3420 offer capacities up to 1½ in. and 3½–4 in., respectively. Internal, automatic thermostat allows heater to get to temperature quickly but will not allow heater to go above ~300°F. With blanket heaters, bending schedule 40 PVC ½ in. pipe at 90° angle can be accomplished in as little as 3–4 minutes.
