Environmental Services is nearing completion of the design of the Alder Pump Station Upgrade Project, and is planning to submit a Commercial Building Permit application this month. The city constructed the Alder Pump Station at SE Water Avenue and SE Alder Street in 1952. This upgrade project will improve reliability, increase pumping capacity and help prevent sewage releases to protect public health, water quality and the environment.
