Vernon-Sabin-Alameda South Construction Update: February 18, 2014

Environmental Services is replacing 10,030 feet of public sewer pipes that are between 92 and 104 years old and in poor condition. The project will also construct 62 manholes, 38 storm drains, 955 feet of storm drain pipe, and 3,870 feet of service laterals to connect houses and businesses to the rebuilt public sewer.

SW 86th Avenue Pump Station Project Construction Update: February 11, 2014

Environmental Services works to protect water quality and the environment through wastewater collection and treatment, sewer construction and maintenance, stormwater management, and stream and watershed restoration. When the SW 86th Avenue Pump Station is complete at the end of 2015, it will increase the capacity of the Fanno Basin Sewer System to ensure that the system can handle all wastewater flows during large rain storms.
