France Televisions, M6 and TF1 join forces to launch common SVoD portal

(Telecompaper) Public broadcaster France Televisions has reached an agreement with private broadcasters M6 and TF1 on the creation of a common SVoD portal, called Salto. In a joint statement, the three parties said that the new service will offer a choice of subscriptions without minimum contract period. Its content offering will include live TV, replay, and online previews, alongside a large library of programmes.
