BIO urges EPA to get Renewable Fuel Standard back on track.

BIO urged EPA to correct flawed methodology in proposed rule for 2014 Renewable Fuel Standard. Agency unveiled proposed consent decree to settle lawsuits regarding EPA’s delays in taking action on 2014 and 2015 rules and will seek stakeholder comment, as required by Clean Air Act, before determining whether to sign decree and to submit it to court for approval. Agency also committed to re-propose volume requirements for 2014 that reflect volumes of renewable fuel that were actually used in 2014.

BIO Urges Governor to Sign interchangeable biologic medicine bill.

BIO is calling upon Governor Deal to sign legislation to create pathway for substitution of interchangeable biologic medicines. Policies outlined in Bill 51, which passed Georgia Senate with 43-3 vote following unanimous vote in the House, align with BIO's principles on biologic substitution.
