At carrier frequency of 1 GHz, S-Series provides -140 dBc/Hz phase noise at frequency offsets from 100 kHz to 1 MHz, while maintaining frequency settling time of 100 µs. Model SGD is further optimized by addition of wideband analog modulation and Arbitrary Waveform Generator sequence mode. Analog modulation provides internal AM, FM, and phase modulation, while ARB sequence mode allows user to set up sequence of waveforms generated in ARB to provide rapid test sequence.
