Calstar selling belting business to Timken

Carlstar L.L.C., producer of Carlisle-brand tires, is selling its industrial belting business to tapered roller bearing manufacturer Timken Co. North Canton-based Timken and Carlstar owner American Industrial Partners disclosed the $220 million deal Aug. 4 in a joint statement.
