Alder Pump Station Upgrade Project: Construction update

On-site mobilization continues on the Alder Pump Station site at SE Water Avenue and SE Alder Street. Upgrades to the pump station will improve reliability and increase pumping capacity, which will help prevent sewage releases into buildings and streets and combined sewage and stormwater overflows to the Willamette River.

Tabor Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: August 31, 2017

Environmental Services continues construction on a sewer repair project that will replace and repair about 17,000 feet of public sewer pipes in southeast and northeast Portland (see map below) that are 60 to 104 years old. This project will protect water quality, public health and the environment. This project will continue through the fall of this year.

SW 45th Avenue Culvert Replacement Construction Update - Road Closure starts August 23

Environmental Services will be constructing a project to replace an aging culvert on Fanno Creek at SW 45th Avenue. The new larger culvert will improve stream flow and allow fish to pass through. Two green street planters will also be constructed along SW 45th to capture and filter stormwater runoff before it flows into Fanno Creek. The restoration work and fish passage will continue Environmental Services efforts to improve conditions in Fanno Creek.
