To complete this project, PBOT crews are scheduled to pave this stretch on Saturday, May 2, Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5, 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lane closures will be in effect during those times. This work is weather-dependent and the schedule may change.

Meijer pursues Main Street site for new West Bend store

Meijer Inc. is scouting a West Bend site on South Main Street for a new supercenter store, continuing its expansion in the Milwaukee-area market. The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company is looking at a property at South Main Street and Parkway Drive, according to a Friday press release from the city of West Bend.

Dignitaries dig dirt to mark construction of Bradley Street corporate park

Signaling the start of construction at the corporate park on outer Bradley Street in the town of Pamelia, a dozen dignitaries scooped soil with shovels Thursday morning at the future site of the Honda dealership planned by F.X. Caprara Auto Sales. The groundbreaking ceremony was held by the MRB Group of Watertown, which created Water District 11 and Sewer District 9 on behalf the town of Pamelia for the 88-acre site, owned by Purcell Construction Corp., Watertown.

Railroad work will require street closures in Fairfield, Suisun City

Union Pacific Railroad construction crews will be performing routine maintenance on the railroad tracks at selected intersections within the cities of Fairfield and Suisun City this month. One of those locations is at the crossing of East Tabor Avenue, which will require the closure from May 16 through 19. The maintenance work will replace and/or repair items related to the tracks in order to extend the useful life, and improve the safety of the crossings in Fairfield and Suisun City, Fairfield city officials said.
