Internet-deprived airline passengers take note: Experts believe Qantas and Virgin Australia will be increasingly pressured to offer in-flight Wi-Fi on international routes now that most of their partners and competitors do so. "American, Delta, and United now offer Wi-Fi on nearly all flights [from Australia] to the United States, but neither Qantas nor Virgin Australia do," Jason Rabinowitz, data manager for airline product differentiation platform Routehappy, said.

Framingham High School midterm exams finished today, and started next week the district will work to bring back a form of wi-fi for students and staff not on district-issued devices. The District is now stating that it needed to shut down the wi-fi due to "Denial of Service" attacks to their system.
Metra tests Wi-Fi service on train cars

Metra has begun putting Wi-Fi "hot spots" on select train cars as a part of an 11-car test run the transit agency announced last fall. The Chicago Tribune reports Metra will complete installing Wi-Fi and signs notifying passengers of the service in a few weeks.
