Your Responsibilities Support the definition and implementation of SESs information security strategy and framework by assessing information security risks and specifying and implementing information security controls to mitigate key risks Work with relevant stakeholders across the organisation to support development of information security policies, standards, processes and procedures Support compliance to the information security policy framework throughout the organisation Manage assigned information security projects Perform information security audits and vulnerability assessments and support the management of vulnerabilities Support the detection and analysis of information security incidents and contribute to adequate responses to information security incidents Support the development and maintenance of SESs information security awareness program and delivery of awareness sessions Suggest constructive recommendations regarding information security in all areas related to information systems, networks and applications Travel as required Your Profile Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related studies Minimum of 3 years industry related experience Relevant certifications e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27005 Certified Risk Manager, CISM, CISA, GLSC, G2700, CISSPISSMP and knowledge of the satellite industry are a plus Experience with implementing and maintaining Information Security Management Systems in accordance with ISO 27001 and industry standardsbest practices like NIST 80053 Knowledge of Information Security threats, vulnerabilities, security technologies and controls as well as Data Protection and Data Privacy are a plus NATOEU SECRET clearances are considered a strong asset. Senior Manager, Affiliates Performance Management NBU Support Betzdorf Provides financial support to Media Platform and Product Development in the Video business unit. The support covers various steps in the SES value chain, from rate card definition, deal negotiation to planning reporting. It includes the assessment and measurement of the costs associated with the delivery of video services. Heshe also monitors the financial performance of Video related affiliates e.g. HD, MX1RRM, Yahlive and reviews related capital allocation requests. Heshe performs financial due diligence on MA opportunities and conducts postinvestment reviews. Heshe works closely with the Media Platform and Product Development teams as well as MX1, HD and finance and business development colleagues. Your Responsibilities Setsup and maintains service investment case revenues, COS, opex, capex, e.g. plays a key role in platform implementations, representing Finance in the respective project management structure and ensuring the platform is implemented within budget and business model assumptions are respected. Develops with Media Platforms Product Development rate cards for the service offerings based on 1. underlying services investment case and, 2. capacity prices from Commercial Operations. Defines and keeps track of services KPIs for internal performance measurement and external communication Acts as single point in Core Finance contact for the Media Platform Product Development team. If required, supports customer negotiations and escalation process from NBU to Core and EC as per DOA Conducts the Video related planning, reporting and analysis as required by Core. Ensures that costs for delivery of video services are assessed and measured in a systematic matter and reflected in the prices offered by SES. Works with Controlling and Business Applications to drive implementation of a product line profitability tools Monitors and controls NBU Video related affiliates performance. Supports hisher manager, the VP Affiliate Support Enterprise Effectiveness, in the definition of Groupwide performance KPIs and reports, identifies areas of financial underperformance either at entity level, or at productservice level and proposes action plans to address the root causes Provides adhoc support on other projects, tasks and deliverables, as required e.g. development of affiliate portfolio management tools, EC and Board reporting, MA due diligence support, postinvestment reviews, support to Tax in tax restructuring projects Your Competencies Sets priorities autonomously and proactively delivers results, even under tight deadlines Takes over responsibility and ownership for achievement of common cross functional goals Builds strong trust and teamwork relationships across functional and geographically disbursed groups and can motivate colleagues Is a good listener, understands perspective of others and has excellent communication skills Is able to frame complex problems or business issues and can elaborate and articulate alternative solutions that address the root cause of the issue Can balance risks and opportunities in order to make commercial deals happen while risk for SES is identified and managed adequately Has a broad knowledge of the satellite industry and is familiar with the specificities of service delivery Can identify the need for change and generate new ideas Your Qualifications Experience Engineering degree complemented with MBA, or relevant financial education complemented with CFA and industry experience e.g. broadcast, video, OTT, VoD 10 to 15 years of experience specific industry experience of 510 years Strong background in business modelling, valuation, cost controlling, IFRS and technology capex management. Job description For our customer, EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany, we are seeking an experienced Operations DocumentationConfiguration Management Engineer to support the EUMETSAT Copernicus Programme and Service Management Office and the Copernicusrelated missions. Copernicus, previously known as GMES Global Monitoring for Environment and Security, is the European Union programme for the establishment of a European capacity for Earth Observation. Responsibilities As a Documentation and Configuration Management Engineer, you will perform Documentation and Configuration Management tasks in support to the Copernicusrelated missions, at first Sentinel3 and Jason3 operations and progressively Sentinel4, SentinelS and JasonCSSentinel6 rampup operations activities. Typical tasks to be undertaken are Implement the applicable Documentation and Configuration Management plans, processes and working practices. Regularly review and propose improvements on those documents Deliver support to a wide range of users and training sessions on applicable Documentation and Configuration Management procedures Ensure that all incoming and outgoing Copernicus documentation is managed according to applicable working practices, covering all registration, formatting, review, approval and storing steps with the EUMETSAT Documentation Management tool, and timely releasingdistribution to relevant recipients Support the identification of the configuration items software, hardware and documents to be managed during Copernicus operations Sentinel3 and Jason3 at the moment and buildup operations activities for Sentinel4, 5, 6. Register those documents and items in the CM and DM databases as appropriate, tracking any new version As required support the administration of the Anomaly and Change Control Boards which are regularly organised to review and approve anomaly correction and changes to configuration baselines, covering all Copernicus associated operations and rampup operations activities Liaise, coordinate and organise joint configuration boards with external partners when and where relevant Support the control all changes impacting identified configuration items through all defined staged lifecycle steps, in particular to ensure that any new item version is deployed only after the formal review and approval of the related change Support the monitoring and control of hardware and software installation activities, and the deployment of satellite, system or ground segments operational documentation procedures into the relevant controlled areas, as required during operations and rampup operations activities Keep up to date the mapping between changes including anomalies and software, hardware and document items, together with the mapping between software and hardware items Contribute to the improvements of the EUMETSAT CM and DM tools, ensuring they efficiently support all required Copernicus operations and rampup operations phases, and participate to the testing of related new releases Regularly perform consistency and accuracy checks on the Documentation and Configuration Management databases Timely prepare and present Configuration Status Accounting Reports and documentation reports, as necessary This is a fulltime position with a planned starting date in August 2016. Qualifications Competencies In addition to having a university degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline, you will have a minimum of five years experience in the specific field of Documentation and Configuration Management, including build, deployment and installation activities on large softwareintensive highavailability operational systems.
