The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to change the state's standard for 1,4 dioxane to 7.2 parts per billion. That's a ten-fold difference from the current standard of 85 parts per billion.

Texas Beverage Association Senior Vice President Katherine McLane asserted in an op-ed in this newspaper Feb. 28 that science does not support a tight link between soda and obesity and diabetes . The next big thing in IT, Docker's container-as-a-service is sold as a route to interoperability.
